Conserving habitat for the benefit of birds, other wildlife and people…

Vision, Mission, Goals

The Canadian Intermountain Joint Venture (CIJV) is a cooperative partnership of government agencies, First Nations, non-governmental conservation organizations, universities, industry and landowners, who share a goal of conserving habitat for the benefit of birds, other wildlife and people.

CIJV Vision

The Canadian Intermountain is a landscape that supports healthy populations of birds, maintains biodiversity and fosters sustainable resource use.

The partners also believe in an approach to conservation that meets the economic needs of those living and working in this unique area.
